Attitude Really Is Everything!

Most people believe attitudes just happen. They don’t. The thoughts we hold in our mind, over time, become our attitudes. These attitudes become the blueprint for our lives. Negative attitudes, full of fear and doubt, reinforce negative, unproductive and self-defeating behaviors. But thinking positively creates positive attitudes, responses and feelings toward the people and events around us.

Attitude Really Is Everything is a fast paced, totally interactive empowerment strategy that will enhance your personal leadership and self-management skills. It will also help you understand that how you perceive a response to events is your choice. And this is the key to establishing personal responsibility and accountability in the midst of change.

Participants will leave this program with an improved:
  Attitude of Self-Awareness
Looking at our limitations and our strengths
Identify the power of our thoughts
Attitude of Understanding
Recognize how we treat others
Showing empathy for others
  Attitude of Listening
Assess our listening and communication skills
The impact of attitudes on our listening
Attitude of Personal Empowerment

The Living-to-Win Lifestyle

S's tend to be helpful and are good team players.
They are often good listeners.
Conscientiousness:  Concerned & Correct.
C's usually focus on quality approaches.

People use the Personal Profile to:

  • Understand their behavior and how it affects others

Adventures in Attitudes!

Adventures in AttitudesAdventures in Attitudes is an intensive but flexible program. It can be offered over several days or, in a modular format, over several weeks. The program is a remarkable process of self-discovery using small group interaction, shared personal experiences, individual and group exercises and facilitator-led discussion.

The course members determine the level and intensity of participation. But most participants recognize early on that this is not “training as usual.” They quickly embrace their active, personal role in the process.

Learners move through ten high high-involvement areas critical to increasing self-awareness, changing attitudes and improving relationships for greater personal and professional

1. Effective Listening
6. Attitudes of Personal Empowerment
2. Developing Communication Skills
7. Creative Problem Solving
3. Attitude Awareness
8. Team Building Strategies
4. Dealing with Emotions
9. Motivational Power
5. Understanding People
10. Reaching Your Potential

Adventures in Attitudes provides organizations with a time-tested, life-changing human relations program offering long-team performance improvement. Organizations will:

  • Gain committed employees, not compliant ones
  • Foster communication and teamwork, not control
  • Inspire leadership and innovation, not dependency
  • Increase positive energy, not stress
  • Encourage change, not resistance to it
  • Create a climate of empowerment, not power

Adventures in Attitudes provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to develop and maintain positive attitudes. Individuals will:

  • Increase self-awareness and affirm strengths, talents and abilities.
  • Learn to transform negative attitudes into positive ones.
  • Overcome self-imposed limitations, fears and doubts
  • Develop effective listening and communication skills.
  • Improve relationships and increase empathy and respect for others.
  • Make decisions with confidence.

Empowerment begins with seeing the possibilities, not just the problems. It means changing our perspective – on others and ourselves. But changing attitudes is risky. It means leaving where you are and not coming back. It requires mental and physical stamina and courage.

It’s easier to say no to changing our attitudes than it is say yes. But to say no are simply ways of repeating the past. Saying yes opens up all sorts of new opportunities. Say yes and discover the power within you to change your attitudes, you work, your relationships and your life.
